Tomato briyani

Ingredients :
 garlic & ginger paste - one and a half tsp.
 onions (large) sliced thin - One.
 green chillies (sliced through the middle) - two.
 puree of five large tomatoes.
garam masala - one tsp.
cloves - two/three.
cinnamon -one cm. pc
bay leaf - one large.
dry fruits - optional
rice - one and a half cups
oil,fat - use judiciously
salt
water.

Method :
 1). Heat oil ,fat .Add the bay leaf,cloves and cinnamon .once the clove crackles add the ginger garlic paste and fry to a golden shade.

2). Add the sliced onions and green chillies and saute till the onions turn pink ,then add the tomato puree and let it simmer till the oil seperates and comes to the top.Add garam masala and salt.
3). Add the required quqntity of water for the rice and when it comes to a boil,add the rice  and let it    cook.
4). In the meantime roast or fry the dry fruits for garnishing.
   Once the rice is done ,garnish with the dry fruits and serve with a raitha of your choice.
